Legends defeat Amazon Rhinos in first season victory

Legends registered their first victory of the 2025 FUBA Division One season after edging 2024 semifinalists 41-28 on Saturday 17th at UCU Kampala Campus.

After falling in their first 3 games, 2023 Semifinalists were on a hunt for their first win of the season and Amazon Rhino were their first prey.

Legends came so close in their last 2 games, losing 39-46 to Makerere Sparks, and 42-46 to Lady Jills and this time around, they were intent on securing the win.

In the first 3 quarters, Amazon scored a total of 13 points and just 5 field goals.

Legends took the opportunity and capitalized to lead the game 31-13 going into the fourth quarter.

Amazon woke up a little too late as they scored 15 points in the fourth quarter but couldn’t offset the earlier lead taken by the Legends.
