Sommet made in 3 wins in a row after defeating Kampala University, 81-51 on Wednesday 9th at YMCA.

Sommet had a slight lead, 20-14, after the first quarter but they were even better in the second and managed to develop a significant lead.

Sommet’s defense was better in the second quarter and as a result, they made defensive stops and limited 5 attempts made out of 18.

William Charles Severino came off the bench and in his 7 minutes in the third quarter, he registered 9 points, 3 rebounds, 1 assist and 2 steals which changed the game.

Both teams were evenly matched in the third quarter but Sommet blew out the Eagles, 20-8 and secured a 30-point victory.

Kampala University has a 7-19 record and it is unlikely they will survive relegation.

They will be taking on Gulu Hawks in their next game on Sunday 13th at YMCA.
