The warriors were able to get over the Elgon Wolves hurdle and redeem themselves after Uganda Rugby Union “URU” had ordered that the semifinal game be replayed.
The decision by URU left so many people debating as to whether it was the right call or not. Some said it was fair as both teams still had a chance to fight fair and square whereas others called for automatic disqualification of the Elgon Wolves as they fielded and ineligible player breaching World Rugby regulations.
The warriors came as a rejuvenated team and were meaning business from the get go. They were in control of the entire game, exerting dominance both offensively and defensively.
The game went into half time with the warriors in strong 13:00 lead, courtesy of a converted try and 2 penalties from Hamza Kinyai.

Hamza Kinyai continued from where he stopped in the second half, scoring 2 more tries and completing the hat trick. Simon Peter Nyeko also got one for himself with the Wolves scoring 3 penalties too finishing the game 09:31.
The warriors booked their place in the finals against Eagles RFC and have a chance to earn promotion to the Nile Special Rugby Premier League for the 2024 season.
It should be noted that Eagles RFC defeated warriors 32:21, and a 17 all stalemate in their encounters in the Central Uganda Rugby Association. In spite of all superiority this season, Eagles come into the finals as the underdogs as Warriors have more experienced players who are expected to get their team over the line.
The game will take place at Legends on Saturday 17th and will Kick off at 4:00 pm
