An end to end encounter between Diamonds in the Sun and Entebbe Knight Riders ensued with the Riders picking the victory in a 1 point game. Riders started off well gaining a 5 point lead to start the second quarter but a big response from the Diamonds gave them a 5 point lead heading into half time.
The Riders were with a 7 point lead with 2:08 left on the clock in the fourth but the diamonds had a chance to tie the game after David Mutekanga was fouled on the layup and got a free throw.
