The JT Jaguars camp was full of logorrhea in the week leading up to weekend fixture against the UMU flames and that story did not end well, as David took down Goliath.
The motormouthed fans couldn’t catch a break as they were blabbering about so much about how their team has been unbeaten in the first 13 games.
The game scheduled to kick start on Saturday at 5:00 pm was by far the most anticipated game so far in the FUBA Div 1 2023 season and masses poured at YMCA to bare witness first hand amidst tension and unmatched rivalry.
The first quarter was even both teams scoring 19 points and sizing up each other. The Umu flames broke away slightly in the second quarter sending the game 32:36 into half time with a 4 point lead.
The Jaguars fight put a strong fight in the third but despite all the handwork, the Umu flames just seemed to pull further snd further away. The UMU flames took an incredible 8 point lead going into the fourth quarter.
The fans were filled with excitement and jitteriness where as pressure and anxiety swept the players from both camps.

The Jaguars put up a dog fight in the fourth, but the flames responded swiftly maintaining their lead. The game ended 63:74 and the Jaguars lost their first game of the season.
