The 4 teams in the FUBA Division Two have already secured their slots in the semi-finals.

Surprisingly, 3 of the 4 teams out of the top 4 have made it through together with the number one seed.

In game one, Falcons won the game 93-88, but it was decided in overtime.

Henrison Mbaziira went off for 29 points and 9 rebounds while Douglas Uwizera scored 19. Martin Demmerle (14) and Bonza Benjamin (13) also scored double digits.

John Madol scored a staggering 37 points, 13 coming from the free throw line.

Nerbert Byamukama (19) and Kelvis Mugisha (18) also came up huge for the Shooters.

In game 2, Makindye Shooters obliterated the Falcons in an 80-52 victory.

The Shooters had 5 players in double digit scores: Freezie Bahat Katende (18), Tresor Tambwe (15), John Madol (13), Kelvis Mugisha (16) and Nerbert Byamukama (11).

Henrison Mbaziira led Falcons in scoring with 14 points while Brian Sesentongo had 10 points.

In the decisive game 4, Makindye Shooters were dominant in the second half.

Falcons started strong, leading 20-13 after the first quarter.

However, in the second, Shooters leveled up, outscoring them 22-15 to make it a tied game at halftime.

In the second half, it was all Makindye Shooters. They took it 47-29 and closed the game with an 82-64 victory.

Makindye had 6 players in double digits; John Madol (17), Kun Lul (14), Freezie Katende (12), Shiima Ethan (11), Kelvis Mugisha (10) and Tresor Tambwe (11).

Henrison Mbaziira was once again the star player for the Falcons as he finished with 21 points.

Brian Ssentongo added 15 while Bomza Benjamin had 11.

Vegetarian swept Governors after 62-60 and 75-70 victories in games one and two respectively.  

In game one, Governors led by 4 points coming into the fourth quarter but Vegetarian had a much efficient fourth quarter to clinch the victory.

Governors scored a single field goal in the fourth quarter and they had 12 points from the free throw line. However, they also missed 40% of their free throws and this came back to bite them.

Lubangankene Enoch scored a team high 17 points while Jackson Kulubya (16) and Shyaka Rugari (12) also scored double-digits.

Abaho Austin scored a game-high 18 points while Bol Adoor added 17 for Governors.

In game 2, it was second half demolition.

At the halftime break, Governors led by 10 points but they were outscored 43-28 in the second half.

Lubangankene Enoch was a time of his life and he finished with 19 points and 17 rebounds.

Shyaka Rugari scored 18 while Jackson Kulubya finished with 15 points.

Governors had 4 players in double-digit scores; Abaho Austin (18), Kuol Ring (12), Machar Cyer (11) and Bol Adoor (14).

Berkley swept the number 2 seed Gulu Hawks in very high scoring games.

In game one, Berkley won 93-90 but the Hawks left everything on the floor.

With about 4:15 minutes to go, Berkley led by 10 but 2 minutes later, Gulu had tied the game.

Berkley then made a 6-0 run and this was enough cushion for them to win the game. Berkley fielded only 7 players and 5 of them scored double-digit points.

Richard Anyunva, Jovani Malesh, and Philip Kalanzi each scored 22 points while Caesar Adoke (14) and Noah Kalibala (0) also scored double-digits.

Kenneth Ocira was on fire in this game and he led in scoring with 26 points, 8 assists and 6 steals.

Majok Majak scored 5 3-point shots and finished with 25 points while Lutalo Enoch scored 14.

In game 2, the fourth quarter was the difference as Berkley outscored Gulu 27-16 to end the game 95-80.

Richard Anyunva (30 points, 15 rebounds) and Jovani Malesh (22 points, 13 rebounds) scored 55% of the team’s total points and picked 56% of the team’s total rebounds.

Caesar Adoke had 24 points while Joel Matabaro finished with 11 points.

The Gulu Hawks scored 39 fast break points and Emmanuel Labong was the top performer with 22 points, 9 rebounds, and 6 assists.

Kenneth Ocira registered 20 points, 7 assists, 5 rebounds and 4 steals.

Watoto also swept Kampala University with 72-58 and 76-54 wins in games one and two respectively.

Omara Emmanuel was the key piece for Watoto and he registered an 18 points and 10 rebounds double double in game one while in game two, he dropped 26 points.

Victor Makmot had 14 points and 6 rebounds in game one while Mark Mayanja cme up huge in game 2 with 16 points.

Emmanuel Odong was the top performer for Kampala University with 23 points, 9 rebounds in game one and 19 points, 10 rebounds in game 2.

Makindye Shooters shall face Watoto while Berkley shall lock horns with Vegetarian.
