Its the giving season and the Snybad the Good Friend Foundation has decided to give basketball fans and Dogs lovers something to smile about.

The Foundation has launched the Hoops and Hounds event with the aim of uniting basketball players and fans from different clubs as well as dog lovers.

Synbad the Good Friend Foundation was established
in memory of the remarkable Ken Ssekyana a.k.a Synbad and it stands as a guiding force for a cause close to his heart. The foundation is a beacon of hope and change in our turbulent society and with unwavering commitment, it endeavors to rescue, rehabilitate, and resettle stray dogs, scripting a tale of
resilience and compassion.

Eight teams, led by passionate individuals, will compete in a spirited basketball tournament, showcasing skills and camaraderie on the court.

You are also encouraged to tag along your furry friends to enjoy a pet-friendly atmosphere throughout the event.

The event aims to celebrate the love for basketball and pets while raising funds for Synbad the Good Friend Foundation, dedicated to rescuing and rehabilitating stray dogs. It will also promote unity and mutual respect among fans from different basketball teams, fostering a sense of community.

Since the Foundation is about rescuing, rehabilitating and resettling of stray dogs, there will be awareness about the Foundation’s work and how the community can join hands and contribute to the work.

The event shall be taking place on 17th December, 2023 at the KIU Basketball Grounds with activities starting at 8:00 am.
