The NBL Game week 7 had a couple of interesting results but a number of players stood out as they helped their teams in their respective games.
Akello Winnifred and Mpoza Abigail returned to the Team and each makes their third appearance on the Team of the Week.
Akello Winnifred has been on fire in the last couple of games for the Miracle Eaglets and she makes the team of the week once again.
The Eaglets played a single game in NBL Game week 7 and despite their 79-51 defeat to the JT Lady Jaguars, Akello still turned up.
She scored a game-high 27 points with 5 3-point shots made plus 8 rebounds, 2 assists, 2 blocks and a steal.
Hope Akello continues to show why she’s the reigning MVP and she makes her fourth appearance (the highest) on the NBL Team of the Week.
Hope dropped her season-high 29 points, 13/18, 72% FG, 3/4 3P, 12 rebounds, 5 assists and 3 steals as JKL Lady Dolphins battered Angels 106-35.
Sarah Ageno makes her second appearance on the NBL Team of the Week after her phenomenal performance in the JT Lady Jaguars 79-51 victory against the Miracle Eaglets.
Sarah registered a double-double, 21 points, 16 rebounds, 3 assists, 3 blocks and 1 steal.
Mpoza Abigail is currently the top scorer in the NBL and her scoring prowess was once again on display as Nabisunsa fell to the UCU lady Canons 72-52.
Abigail scored a game-high 22 points and game-high 7 steals plus 6 rebounds and 3 assists.
Ines Kanyamuneza was a an unstoppable force for the KIU Rangers as they thumped Angels 67-37.
She scored 5 3-point shots in the first quarter alone and finished with a game high 26 points, 3 rebounds, 2 assists and 5 steals.
