The JT Lady Jaguars made history, qualifying for their first NBL Finals after sweeping the Magic Stormers 3-0.
Lady Jaguars was the favorite coming into this series and they showed it after winning games one and two.
In game 3, the Magic Stormers put up a fight in the first half but JT found a way in the fourth quarter winning the game 59-43.
At the halftime break, JT led the game 28-27.
The Magic Stormers were using 3 bigs (Ajah, Nakito and Mupalia) at a time and this yielded results.
However, towards the end of the second quarter, Kur Ajah, who had been their biggest offensive weapon, sustained a shoulder injury and had to be taken off.
This made it easier for the Lady Jaguars as the offensive fire power of the Stormers had reduced significantly.
At the end of the third quarter, Daphine Adong made 2 unnecessary fouls sending Rhoda Nagitta to the free throw line with 5 attempts.
She scored 3 of them and put the Lady Jaguars 5 points ahead with the fourth quarter left.
In the fourth quarter, it was a story of turnovers for the Magic Stormers.
They kept making turnovers and the JT Lady Jaguars punished them.
In the entire fourth quarter, Magic Stormers had 9 turnovers and scored just 6 points.
On the other hand, the Lady Jaguars scored 17 to win the game 59-53.
Mercy Batamuliza and Sarah Ageno were very active on the boards and managed to collect 35 rebounds.
In the 3 games, Batamuliza collected 49 rebounds, averaging 16.3 per game.

After finishing 4th then 3rd, the JT Lady Jaguars are now in the finals.
