In the final 10 seconds of the game, the hearts of Nabisunsa players, fans, coaches and well wishers  had left them momentarily after Kur Ajah attempted a lay up that would have given the Magic Stormers the win.

Nabisunsa led by 3 with 14 seconds but Christine Nakito made it a 1-point game after picking up an offensive rebound and scoring.

A few seconds later, Nabisunsa made a turnover and Kur Ajah had a chance to finish off the game but fortunately for Nabisunsa, the ball hit the rim and out it went.

“I’m still shaking” this is what Sarah Namale a player of Nabisunsa said 5 minutes after the game and it goes on to show you how much adrenaline the players had in the final moments of the game.

Nabisunsa came into the game with a mission to win and survive relegation having done the most important part of thr job the day before as they defeated YMCA Lady Hamstars.

The Magic Stormers led 13:11 after the first quarter but Nabisunsa engaged another gear in the second quarter, taking it 21:10 and leading the game 32:23 at halftime.

In the first 3 minutes of the third period,  Magic Stormers made a 9:2 run and it was a 2-point game, and the momentum on their side.

Nabisunsa steadied their ship and closed out the quarter with 14:3 run to extend the lead further to 13 points.

The Stormers were standing on business in the fourth quarter and Nabisunsa were fighting for their lives.

The Stormers made it a 4-point game and panic was already setting in for Nabisunsa.

In the final 2 minutes, the Stormers made a 7:0 run and they trailed by 1 point with 39 second left.

Sarah Namale scored what would be the most important basket for Nabisunsa to take their lead back to 3 points with 39 seconds left.

The final seconds were dramatic, Christine Nakito made it a 1-point game, Nabisunsa made a turnover and Kur Ajah missed the potential game winner.

Sarah Namale put up an incredible performance as she led in rebounds and also blocks.
