Sommet made a 12-point comeback against the JKL Dolphins to win the game 68-64.
After their narrow defeat to the UCU Canons, the JKL Dolphins came out strong against Sommet, took the lead at halftime but were unable to see the game through.
JKL suffered from turnovers in the first quarter but at the end, the game was tied 14 apiece.
Sommet scored 0 points in the first 5 minutes of the quarter and JKL took an 8-point lead.
Tembo scored back-to-back triples and these breathed life back into Sommet.
At halftime, JKL Dolphins led the game 34-25 and were in firm control.
Halfway through the third quarter, JKL led by 10 points but things went downhill from there onwards.
Sommet closed the quarter with a 14-5 and scored 2 3-point shots late to take a 1-point lead into the fourth quarter.
John Teko scored 3 consecutive field goal at the start of the fourth quarter and carried them for a small spell.
Sommet always stayed ahead despite JKL coming so close.
The Dolphins scored huge 3 points shots to stay in the game but never quite caught up.
With 46 seconds left, Peter Cheng scored a huge 3-point shot to give Sommet a 6-point lead and that seemed to be the dagger.
Denis Omara responded with one for JKL but they were unable to get another shot and Sommet won the game 68-64.

They take on the Namuwongo Blazers next on Friday 4th July at YMCA.
