The second circuit of the Nile Special 7s is behind our back and more teams getting to shine and players continuing to show why deserve to be summoned to the National team.
The Pirates once again showing that they surely are in control winning their second circuit in a row and having to overcome strong teams, in Impis, Heathens and 2022 winners Jinja Hippos.

The Pirates scored a record 30 tries, 4 ahead of Kobs and 10 ahead of Heathens.
Most notably was Arnold Atukunda who was named MVP having scored the most tries (8) and moving his tally to 14 so far.

Mubarak Wandera too showed his worth for the Pirates scoring 6 tries and showing the results of putting in the work at the training field.
Adrian Kasito who missed the first circuit in Jinja was a very big addition for the Kobs and he once more showed what he’s made of scoring 6 tries and 1 conversion.
Pius Ogena was also in his element scoring 6 of the 26 Kobs tries and that sent his tally to 10.
Timothy Mugisha was the master piece in the Hippos run to the Finale. He scored 5 tries and put in very big tackles to aide his team make the finals run.
Another outstanding player was the Impis Captain Kennedy Muhumuza who has been phenomenal in back to back circuits. He once again led Impis in scoring with 4 tries sending his tally to 8.
Last season’s MVP Aaron Tukei was instrumental for the Buffaloes scoring 5 tries and 2 conversions.
Jones Kamiza carried his Kicking boots scoring 8 conversions for the pirates and topping it with 2 tries.
The Black Pearls were able to get the better of Rivals Thunderbirds in both games and thus being crowned the victors.

Lona Amoli Sandra was very solid for the Thunderbirds and was named MVP despite scoring only 2 tries and 2 conversions. She was Central to all her team’s offense amd defense.

Sarah Kirabo of the Avengers put in a very solid shift scoring 5 tries.
Emily Lekuru who missed the circuit in Jinja came back stronger for the Black Pearls scoring a record 7 tries in the tournament. She was the primary attacker and team’s defense just couldn’t cope up with her.
After an impressive weekend with the Lady Cranes in Jinja, Maimuna Nassozi’s kicking game was on point again, scoring 6 conversions and adding 3 tries to it.
Charlotte Mudoola was perfect from the boot, scoring 13 conversions and a try for the Black Pearls.
The most impressive fact was tha Women’s Rugby Legend Winnie Atyang got to play with her twin daughters, Apio Phillies and Achen Tamara on the same pitch for the Thunderbirds.
