The third and final circuit of the Central 7s came to a conclusion on Sunday 16th July at Makerere Rugby Grounds “Graveyard”.
The teams which have been dominant all through were once again victors and ended up bagging all the awards.

Having lost the first circuit on finals, the Kisubi Lady Pacers were more determined on the last 2, winning in MUBS last weekend and once again, defeating their nemesis Entebbe Lady Swans, in the finals to win the final circuit.

The Eagles who lost to Boks in the semifinals last weekend at MUBS made no mistake this time round. Narrowly, edging the Stallions in overtime, they made it a mission to win the overall cup and the Sailors made it very easy for them as they weren’t firing at all, probably due to trauma from last weekends third play off loss to Eagles.

The kisubi Lady Pacers won the overall trophy having won 2 circuits and reached one final. The Eagles also won the overall, with 2 circuit wins a third place at MUBS circuit.
Grace Nabaggala was named MVP for all the 3 circuits, making it 4 in a row and she was also the Top scorer of the tournament.
She said “I hope one day, I’ll Captain the National team”. She also adds that “I’m now going to work harder, as i prepare for National team”.
Eagle’s Omongin Julius also took home the top awards, being named MVP overall and also Top try scorer of the tournament. He expressed his desire to represent the National team on the big stage.
“I want to put on those colors and represent my motherland”, he also adds “winning is good, am I’m going to work harder to win more”.
The Eagles will play in the Playoffs with teams from other regions to see who will be promoted and earn Core status in the National Seven’s Championship.
