The KIU Rangers and the City Oilers now have a 2:0 advantage in their respective series after withstanding pressure and holding off their opponents.
Despite losing game 2, the JT Lady Jaguars put up a fight leading the game for more than 30 minutes and tables turning with just 5 minutes left in the final quarter.

The JT Lady Jaguars played more aggressive compared to Game 1 and they seemed like they’d be able to get over the line.
Things changed in the half way the fourth quarter after a KIU Rangers timeout and looks like whatever had been discussed was effected immediately.
Perus Nyamwenge and Ines Kanyamunza scored 2 quick 3 point shots to give the Rangers the lead and they couldn’t catch up from their on.
Dorcas Marondera came up clutch for the Rangers scoring their last 7 points and literally keeping their lead alive.

The Rangers can’t seem to run out of ways to hurt the Jaguars. The shooting is phenomenal and they have more than 3 players who can change a game.
Their work in the paint is also another weapon, Dorcas Marondera and Amaniyo are both very strong, tall and physical, beating them in the paint can be a very big problem for an averagely sized JT Lady Jaguars.

Our Savior started with so much vigor going pound for pound with the 8 time champions but soon fell off in the second quarter and the lead became 9 going into half time.

They fell off even more in the third quarter scoring just 1 basket in the first 5 minutes. The Oilers closed the quarter with a 9:0 run to make it a 20 point game. All the points by Jimmy Enabu.

The Oilers however seemed to have managed the situation quite well and went ahead to win the game.
