Brandon Alan Sebirumbi was the most efficient big body that the Silverbacks had during the tournament. Despite fouling out in the first 2 games, his performances were nothing short of excellent and when he was off the floor, the difference was very evident. He averaged 7.3 points, 57.1% FG the highest for Uganda, 6 rebounds, and 2 assists.

Tonny Drileba was a starting guard for the Silverbacks and his size helped us not suffer a lot in that position. He contributed in all aspects of the game with an average of 9.0 points, 4.3 rebounds, 2.7 assists, 0.7 steals, and 40.9% FG.

Emmanuel Womala averaged the second most minutes, 30.6 for Uganda despite coming off the bench and he earned the coach’s trust. He averaged 6 points, 5 rebounds, 4 assists, and 1 steal (the most for Uganda).

Ivan Muhwezi was poor in the first 2 games with a combined 7 points but he was in his element against Libya scoring 15 points on 42.9% FG. He added 7 rebounds and 4 assists to that. He averaged 7.3 points, 4 rebounds, 1.7 assists.

Titus Odeke “Lual” who was our starting big man was very underwhelming. He had 0 points and 3 fouls against Cape Verde in 10 minutes but his scoring increased a bit with 6 against Nigeria on 100% FG and 7 against but no points in the paint.

Fayed Baale was also a big disappointment for many fans who thought he would be another weapon for us from the 3-point line. He had 0 3-point shots made in 8 attempts and in 2 games, he had 0 points.

Given his wealth of experience on the international scene, James Okello will also be disappointed with his performance. He scored just 7 points and 4 rebounds in 36 minutes that he played.

Joel Kayiira and Edgar Munaba barely played with a total of 4:21 and 1:02 minutes respectively for each.

Stanly Mugerwa did not play in any game.
