The Namuwongo Blazers’ winning streak was cut short after getting a shock 63:57 defat from the 5-time champions Power.

From the onset, the Blazers did not seem as enthusiastic about the game, missing multiple opportunities and power capitalizing on that.

The game changed in the second quarter, Peter Cheng scored 3 3-point shots and Namuwongo picked up the moment, with the game tied at half time.

Power took the kead in the third period and they managed to maintain it despite Namuwongo knocking on the door for a while.

Lemaniku Reagan and Elvis Ssentongo both made very 2  important 3-point shots in the fourth quarter and everytime the Blazers seemed to get onto something, they cut their momentum off straight away with quick responses.

Is this a concern for the Blazers?

Losing a game, more so to a struggling side, comes with so many lessons and the Blazers picked up a lot from that loss that will help them in their search for a championship.

Consistency was a very key issue for them. Peter Cheng was fired up offensively but Namuwongo didn’t have other consistency sources. Joseph Chuma, despite getting multiple opportunities from his range, was not a threat as he missed multiple attempts.

The bench did not also do much, of the 29 points they got, 22 came from Peter Cheng and Soro Geoffrey with 7.
