Game week 10 was filled with tough matchups, a couple of upsets but here’s the top 5 players that stood out for their respective teams.
Edgar Munaba was causing all sorts of problems to his opponents and they didn’t seem to have a way to stop him. He registered 16 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists against Livingstone but he topped that performance after dropping a monster 26 points, 17 rebounds, 3 assists and 3 steals double-double against the JKL Dolphins. His 26 points was the highest in the game week (men).
His teammate Joel Lukoji took matters into his own hands against Livingstone, registering a game-high 21 points with 7 rebounds, 6 assists, and 5 steals. He was a bit laid back against the JKL Dolphins and he had 8 points, 1 rebounds, gameweek-high 8 assists and 4 steals. The KIU Titans won both their games, 86-56 and 62-82 against Livingstone and JKL Dolphins respectively.
James Okello was a joy to watch as he tormented the UCU Canons in the final game of the week. He was given a lease to shoot and he made 4/6 3-point shots. He had a game-high 21 points, 11 rebounds and 5 assists. Against the JT Jaguars, James registered 8 points 8 rebounds, 5 assists, and 1 steal. The City Oilers won both their games, 53-73 and 56-80 against JT Jaguars and UCU Canons respectively.

Power duo Elvis Mutebi and Samad Imran were on a roll in game week 10 although they only managed to secure a single victory in back-to-back games.
Elvis Mutebi finished with 22 points, 1 rebound, and 1 steal against the Ndejje Angels. During their loss to Livingstone, he had 14 points, 1 rebound, 3 assists and 3 steals. His contributions offensively were very important for Power.
His counterpart Samad Imran was in his bag against the Ndejje Angels. He finished with 26 points, 11/16, 68% FG plus 10 rebounds, 3 steals and 1 block. His output dwindled a bit against Livingstone as he produced 12 points, 8 rebounds, 1 assist, 1 steal, and 2 blocks.
Women
Ines Kanyamuneza led her side to back-to-back victories while dropping 20+ in each of the games, as KIU Rangers defeated Kampala University (97-42) and Nabisunsa (35-63).
She registered 21 points, 2 rebounds, 2 assists, 1 steal against Kampala University. It is important to note that she had 100% FG, and 5/5 3-point shots made. She became the first player this season to have 100% FG while attempting 5+ 3 point shots.
Her performance went a notch higher against Nabisunsa as she finished with 24 points, 6 rebounds, 3 assists and 5 steals.

Hope Akello once again showed why she’s the reigning MVP after a superb performance against giants, KCCA Leopards. He registered 20 points, 17 rebounds, 4 assists, and 2 steals and missed less than 3 minutes of the entire game. The KCCA Leopards couldn’t stop her despite putting different defenders on her.
KCCA Leopards duo has shown how important they are for their side and if they are to win a title, they need to play at the highest level.
Perus Nyamwenge was the primary source of offense for the Leopards and she delivered, just as she always does. She scored 24 points, 4 rebounds, 2 assists, and 2 steals.
Sylvester Kazibwe is the go to person whenever the KCCA Leopards are in trouble. She became the orchestrator for the Leopards and almost made a triple-double. She was very proactive defensively forcing guards to lose the ball, and she got 4 steals. On top of that, she scored 13 points, 10 rebounds and 8 assists. He ability to make everyone better and impact the game highly goes under the radar but against the JKL Lady Dolphins, it was there for all to see.
Bridget Aber was very active offensively and defensively to help the UCU Lady Canons register 67-50 and 42-65 wins against Miracle Ravens and A1 Challenge respectively. She had an 11 points, 15 rebounds ,1 assist, 1 steal and 1 block double double against Miracle Ravens and she had 15 points, 3 rebounds, 3 steals and 4 blocks against A1 Challenge.
