The City Oilers will be out to complete the mission and sweep the Kampala Rockets in order to advance to the semifinals of the National Basketball league.
The Kampala Rockets, who qualified for the playoffs by virtue of having a better Head to Head record compared to Livingstone and JKL Dolphins, know that the odds are highly stacked against them and forcing a game 3 would be a big achievement.
During game one, the two teams fought toe to toe in the first half but the Oilers showed why they are the nine time champions as they restricted the Rockets to just 7 points while scoring 22 in the third quarter.
The fourth quarter was similar to the third, and the Oilers won the game 75:52.
One major concern in this game was the absence of Christian Ndibu and the Oilers outrebounded the Rockets 58-48. Seeing Christian back for game 2 could be a game changer and with his output, he could add more offensively and defensively.

The Rockets will also be hoping that they can play with the same intensity from the start of the game to the end of the game and that Ruai Luak produces more, in terms of points, rebounds and assists.
The Oilers have been in autopilot and they know that they have more than enough to get this win. Mer Maker who has been very productive needs to just maintain while the other players also have to do their jobs.
